Bomb threat disrupts classes for second time this week at Eastern York Middle School
WRIGHTSVILLE, Pa. – For the second this week, a bomb threat has disrupted classes at the Eastern York Middle School.
School district officials evacuated the building on the 700 block of Cool Creek Road, at about 11:39 a.m. because a written bomb threat was discovered. Students were evacuated to the adjacent Eastern York High School Performing Arts Center.
Local police with a K9 checked the building and determined that it was safe. At about 1:42 p.m. the district reported that the school had been cleared for students and staff to return. The school resumed its normal schedule.
Classes at the middle school were also disrupted on Tuesday after a written bomb threat was discovered.
The investigation into both incidents continues.
