WEEKEND CHANGES: Cue the fall weather for the first weekend of fall.  Enjoy mid 70s for your Saturday afternoon and low humidity.  We’ll also see less clouds and more sun throughout the day.  Under clear skies, we drop to 50 by sunrise on Sunday morning.  By the way, sunrise happens around 7 A.M. these days.  On Sunday, we spend much of the day in the 60s.  Eventually, we’ll hit 70 by the afternoon.  The sky stays sunny all day.

We've got a more seasonal 7-day forecast.

SEASONAL WEEK: We have average highs in the mid 70s this time of year, and this week, we have many days with highs in the mid 70s.  On Monday, we start out very sunny.  Then, clouds increase throughout the afternoon–enough to call it partly sunny.  Overnight, we’ll turn pretty cloudy, and we’ll even get a few showers on Tuesday.  The sky looks a bit sunnier on Wednesday, but we’ll still have a lot clouds in it.  By the end of the week, the sun returns in full force.

Most of the week stays dry.

WEEKEND EVENTS: A dozen local museums have free admission on Saturday.  You need to download a ticket ahead of time.  Do that here.  Saturday is National Public Lands Day and local parks are looking for volunteers for service projects.  See which ones, here.  It’s also Family Hike Day this weekend, and there are special events on sections of the Appalachian Trail that runs through our area.  Get the details here.
