BREEZY WITH CLOUDS: Monday morning begins cool with some sunshine. An approaching cold front brings some changes through the day. In the meantime, it’s a chilly start, with temperatures in the 40s to near 50 degrees. There’s some sunshine mixed with clouds to start, with perhaps a few foggy locations. Clouds build through the afternoon quiet quickly as the front gets closer. Afternoon highs are cool as well, in the middle 60s to near 70 degrees. It's breezy too. Most of the evening commute should be dry, but shower move in from west to east starting around 6pm. Showers last through the evening, and then clearing gradually takes place before daybreak. Some foggy spots are possible. Expect overnight low temperatures in the lower to middle 50s. Sunshine is back briefly for Tuesday. It’s a warmer day, with temperatures in the lower to middle 70s.
DAMP DAYS: Wednesday brings increasing clouds as our next system slowly approaches. Temperatures are still on the milder side, with readings in the lower to middle 70s. A few late showers are possible, but most should stay dry. A much better chance for showers comes Thursday and Friday, courtesy of this next system. It detaches from the main steering winds of the jet stream, so it’s here to stay for a few days. Expect shower chances Thursday and Friday. There are plenty of clouds, with readings in the middle to upper 60s.
WEEKEND OUTLOOK: The weekend is slow to bring improvements as the system gradually lifts out of the area. Partly sunny skies are expected for Saturday, but still anticipate a few showers. Highs are in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Sunday is much drier, and a bit sunnier, but a couple showers can’t be entirely excluded. Highs are in the lower to middle 70s.
Have a great Monday!
