LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. – East Lampeter Township Police investigate a series of thefts involving vehicles over the weekend.
On Saturday, September 24, police responded to a discovered overnight theft from vehicle at a residence in the 800 Blockk of Gail Place. Sometime overnight the unlocked vehicle was entered and a Magellan Roadmate 1700 GPS unit was stolen. Loss reported to be $120.
Also on Saturday, police received a report of a discovered theft from vehicle at a residence in the 300 block of Newport Road. It was reported that an unlocked pickup truck was entered on the property and a black Smith & Wesson Shield .40 caliber pistol, serial #HUN2859, was stolen from the vehicle.
On Sunday, September 25, police responded to a discovered stolen vehicle at a home in the 2000 block of Pennwick Road. A tan 2006 Hyundai Sonota bearing PA license plate #GNT-1077, was stolen from the property sometime overnight. Vehicle was unlocked with a spare key inside.
