DRY WITH SUNSHINE IS BRIEF

Showers expected this evening and part of the overnight followed by gradual clearing towards morning.  Some areas could pick up a .10″ of an inch with isolated higher amounts.

Temperatures drop to the lower and middle 50s by Tuesday morning. With some clearing early morning, areas of fog is possible. Skies brighten up as sunshine is back for the day and warms temperatures to the lower and middle 70s. Our next system approaches slowly Wednesday resulting in clouds building through the day. While it’s dry most of the afternoon, a few late showers are possible. Highs are still mild in the lower and middle 70s. Upper-level changes to the flow results in a couple of gray, gloomy and perhaps wet days to end the week. A far cry from what we have experienced lately but welcomed. The clouds and showers keep temperatures in the 60s both Thursday and Friday.

WEEKEND IMPROVEMENT

System is very slow to lift out of the area. Clouds are pesky for Saturday and a small shower chance lingers. With little sunshine, temperatures struggle to reach 70, leaving plenty of areas stuck in the 60s. We should see some improvement Sunday with drier conditions and more sunshine, however, an isolated shower can’t be ruled out. High temperatures are milder, climbing to the lower and middle 70s.

NEXT WEEK OUTLOOK

More sunshine and drier conditions return for Monday. Morning lows are cool in the upper 40s to near 50 degrees. Clouds give way to plenty of sunshine during the day, resulting in rebounding temperatures to the lower 70s.
