“Revenge” a part of 17th hole at Royal Manchester Golf Links

YORK COUNTY — The FOX43 Golf Tip of the Week offers a piece of advice when playing Royal Manchester Golf Links in Mount Wolf. Be prepared to face a stiff challenge when you get to the Par 4 17th hole. In order to stretch the course to over 7,000 yards for the USGA, Royal Manchester pushed the tees way back on the 17th. PGA Head Professional Kieron Mooney is responsible for the decision so the members honored him by naming the hole “Kieron’s Revenge.” Here’s a look at the 17th at Royal Manchester.
