Eastern York MS evacuated after 4th bomb threat

WRIGHTSVILLE, Pa. – For 4th time in just over a week, a bomb threat is found at Eastern York Middle School.   Students evacuated the school building at about 1:05 p.m. this afternoon. because of a written bomb threat.

Local police responded to the scene and school administrators quickly identified the student responsible for the false threat.

Students and staff members re-entered the building in less than 10 minutes and resumed normal activities. Students were dismissed at the regular dismissal time. All students and staff are safe.

Three written bomb threats were reported at the school last week. Two students were identified and  suspended in two of the incidents. The third remains under investigation.

The high school was put on lockdown on Monday after an unauthorized male came into the building. So far no charges in that incident.
