MILDER WITH SUN: An exiting cold front brings some clouds to start this morning, but sunshine returns through the day. Temperatures being in the middle 50s to lower 60s. Sunshine gradually returns through mid morning. Some clouds may linger east into the early afternoon, but there is plenty of sun for most by that point in time. It’s a warmer day, with temperatures in the lower to middle 70s. Skies remain mainly clear through the evening, with just a few clouds through the night. Overnight lows are a bit chillier, in the upper 40s to middle 50s.
DAMP DAYS: Wednesday brings increasing clouds as our next system slowly approaches. Temperatures are still on the milder side, with readings in the lower to middle 70s. A few late showers are possible. A much better chance for showers comes Thursday and Friday, courtesy of this next system. It detaches from the main steering winds of the jet stream, so it’s here to stay for a few days. Expect shower chances and breezy conditions on Thursday and Friday. There are plenty of clouds, with readings in the middle to upper 60s.
WEEKEND OUTLOOK: The weekend is slow to bring improvements as the system gradually lifts out of the area. Partly sunny skies are expected for Saturday, but still anticipate a few showers. Highs are in the upper 60s to near 70. Sunday is much drier, and a bit sunnier, but a couple showers can’t be entirely excluded. Highs are in the lower to middle 70s. Monday brings a mixture of sunshine and clouds, with highs in the lower 70s.
