UPPER ALLEN TOWNSHIP, Pa.–The fourth member of an alleged burglary ring has been arrested, according to Upper Allen Township police.
Christopher Turner, 41, of Mechanicsburg, is charged with theft by unlawful taking, criminal conspiracy and receiving stolen property. Turner was arrested Sept. 17 in Harrisburg and was taken to Cumberland County Prison in lieu of $50,000.
During the early morning hours of July 17 over $200,000 worth of electrical components were stolen from a business in the 200 block of Cumberland Parkway in Upper Allen Township, according to police reports. On July 18, Upper Allen Police located a large portion of the stolen property at a rented warehouse storage site in the 5200 block of Simpson Ferry Road in Mechanicsburg. Authorities searched the warehouse and recovered the stolen electrical components and identified additional property that was stolen from other jurisdictions at different times during the spring of 2016.
Investigators identified Christopher Turner, Jeremy Weldon, Robby Zoller and Sergio Barr as suspects in the crimes and obtained warrants for their arrest. The storage unit was leased by Turner and was being used under the name Bar Breakers to sell stolen property across the United States.
Property management of the storage facility cooperated with the investigation and Turner leased a space at the location, police said.
Turner’s accomplices–Barr, Weldon and Zoller were arrested in August 2016 and their charges have been forwarded to the Court of Common Pleas.
