Chambersburg man arrested for supplying heroin to overdose victim

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. –  A Chambersburg man is behind bars after allegedly supplying drugs to an overdose victim.

22 year old Samuel Butler was arrested at 1071 Wayne Avenue after Chambersburg Police Department patrol units responded to a drug overdose incident at a Denny’s restaurant. Butler was found to have supplied the overdose victim with heroin. The unidentified victim was transported to the Chambersburg Hospital and is expected to recover.

Butler is charged with Drug Delivery and Drug Possession. Following arraignment Butler was committed to the Franklin County Jail in lieu of $150,000 bail.
