COLUMBIA, Pa.– A man was arrested after a hit-and-run incident led to the discovery that he was driving under the influence.
James Kaufhold, 46, is facing charges of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Careless Driving, and Accidents Involving Unattended Vehicles among others.
On September 4, police were called to a hit and run accident in the area of 10th and Barber Streets.
Upon arrival, officers found that two parked vehicles had been struck and a gold minivan fled the area.
Police were able to find the vehicle that fled the scene, with Kaufhold behind the wheel.
