LOWER WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, Pa.–Police continue their search for a 23-year-old man accused of posing as a student to gain access at Eastern York High School on Monday morning.

Timothy Justin Hannah Jr., of York, eluded police as they tried to capture him in Lower Windsor Township on Sept. 26.

According to police, Hannah walked in to the school located at 720 Cool Creek Road, and met with a female student in the women’s bathroom on the east side of the cafeteria prior to the beginning of the school day.  While inside the school, a teacher confronted Hannah and he claimed he was a new student and didn’t know where to go, according to the criminal complaint. When the teacher escorted Hannah to the front office, he asked to use the bathroom and exited the building, court documents state.

The teacher immediately reported the suspicious activity to the assistant principal. School officials and police later learned that Hannah assaulted the female student in the bathroom. The girl told investigators Hannah had chocked her and threatened her, according to the criminal complaint. She said she was afraid for her safety, court documents state.

The high school and middle school were placed on lockdown as a precaution. Police searched the area and found Hannah in the high school parking lot near Cool Creek Road. An officer attempted to take Hannah into custody, but he was able to free himself from the officer’s grasp and run into a farm field across from the school. A foot chase ensued and police lost Hannah when he ran into the woods.  He remains at large.

Hannah is charged with resisting arrest, criminal trespassing, aggravated assault and flight to avoid apprehension.

Over the past several months–Hannah has had numerous run-ins with the law.  In May 2016, Hannah fled police during a traffic stop in York City, according to court documents. As police approached his vehicle along the 300 block of West King Street, Hannah exited the vehicle and jumped a fence. He fled and left behind a juvenile female passenger, court documents state. Police discovered Hannah had warrants out for his arrest on drug charges and access device fraud. He was never apprehended.

In June 2016, police were notified that Hannah assaulted a juvenile at a home located along the 200 block of Carlisle Avenue, according to court documents. Hannah became enraged after reading the girls diary, court documents state. Following the assault, Hannah prevented the girl from calling police and told her he would knock out her teeth and kill her, according to the criminal complaint. The girl wasn’t allowed to go outside until the following morning, when Hannah allowed her outside in order to unload clothing that was being dropped off. Instead of unloading the clothing, the girl got into a vehicle and fled the area, court documents state. The girl later went to police, where they observed multiple injuries all over her body. Hannah was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, false imprisonment and harassment.

In August 2016, police caught Hannah and a juvenile female trespassing in a condemned building along the 100 block of West King Street. Investigators say the pair were  found hiding in an upstairs bedroom on the third floor. The unidentified girl was reported as a runaway. Hannah took off running down the stairs and fled, police said. He was never apprehended, according to court documents.

Hannah is described as  5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds, with a thin build. He was last seen wearing red shirt, with short black sleeves, long blue shorts and sneakers.
