One man hospitalized after car slams into a house in York County

YORK TWP, York, Pa- One man has been taken to the hospital after his car slammed into a house along Leader Heights Road in York County.

Officials say the accident happened at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday along the 200 block of Leader Heights Road.

According to police, a man along with a passenger, were heading eastbound, when for unknown reasons, lost control and went into the house.

The driver was confined inside the car for a short period of time. Emergency crews did help free the man, he was taken to a local hospital. No word on the severity of his injuries. The passenger was not injured.

Officials say no one was home at the time of the accident.
