Enjoy the sunshine while it lasts!
THE NEXT FEW DAYS: We’ll cool it back down into the 50s again tonight with morning fog possible as well, mostly in southeastern portions of the area just like this morning.
After that, clouds will yield to abundant sunshine for most of the afternoon with highs around 70s area wide. Wednesday looks like much of the same, with highs in the upper 60s and low 70s.
CLOUD COVER AND RAIN CHANCES: Towards the end of the week, clouds really begin to build back in with highs hanging around 70. A few rain chances come into the forecast, though they will be very hit-or-miss starting on Saturday and lasting throughout the weekend. Don’t cancel any plans just yet.
KEEPING AN EYE ON MATTHEW: The latest model runs sped Hurricane Matthew up and closer to the southeastern Atlantic coast. Some models have Matthew hitting the Carolinas as a hurricane on Saturday, while others still have it out to sea. We have awhile to go before we see any affects from Matthew, but we’re keeping a close eye as we go throughout the week.
Have a great day!
