LANCASTER, Pa.–Police are looking for a man who they say stabbed two people in Lancaster on Monday night.

Ravouth Cheng, 27, of Lancaster is charged with criminal attempted homicide, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and endangering the welfare of children.

Police responded to an apartment located along the 200 block of North Reservoir Street for a reported stabbing around 10:42 p.m. Monday. Investigators say Cheng  fled the scene before officers arrived. Police found two victims at the scene, an unidentified 35-year-old Lancaster woman and an unidentified 57-year-old Lancaster man. Both were taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators discovered the woman and her boyfriend, later identified as Cheng, were involved in an argument when he became violent. According to police reports, Cheng pushed the woman to the ground, grabbed her by the neck and stabbed her in the face. She sustained a broken jaw during the incident.

Cheng then grabbed his father around his neck and pointed a knife at him, according to police reports. As the woman’s father attempted to grab the knife, he suffered cuts to his hands.

Cheng remains at large and police have obtained an warrant for his arrest.
