More sunshine expected for Wednesday

Expect a cool morning in the middle 40s to lower 50s. Once again, a few areas of fog or haze is possible, which may slow the morning drive, however, it’s not as widespread. Sunshine burns off the low clouds and it’s a beautiful day. High temperatures respond nicely into the lower 70s. We continue the trend for Thursday and temperatures notch up a few degrees to the lower and middle 70s. We add more clouds as they drift up from Hurricane Matthew through the afternoon Friday. Still plenty of sunshine to begin the day and it’s another mild one in the lower to middle 70s.

We are watching the track of Hurricane Matthew closely. A cold front approaches Saturday bringing more clouds and perhaps a few showers. However, Matthew may track close enough to the coast bringing additional clouds, showers and gusty winds, especially to the east.  The models continue to bounce back and forth with each update.  A track west means a greater impact to the Lower Susquehanna, and a track farther east, means the worst conditions remain east of the area.  Keep track of the latest by downloading the Fox43 Weather app, follow our social media pages and/or watch Fox43 News.  With the clouds and rain chance, temperatures are held in the 60s. Behind the departing front Sunday, sunshine slowly returns. Winds are breezy and temperatures are cool in the lower 60s.

It’s cool morning in the 40s but with plenty of sunshine, temperatures recover to the middle 60s. A weak system comes through Tuesday producing afternoon and evening clouds, along with a brief shower.    Temperatures expected in the 60’s.

Have a good day!
