HARRISBURG, Pa.– Harrisburg Police arrested a man for a shooting that occurred on August 23 near 13th and Market Street.

Marquis Jenkins, 24, is facing charges of criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault, criminal mischief and reckless endangerment for the shooting.

On 2:15 a.m. on August 23, officers heard multiple shots fired in the area of Pizza Boli, on 13th & Market Streets. A male stumbled into the pizza shop and said that he had been shot multiple times.

He was taken to Hershey Hospital and had surgery.

Officers discovered the crime scene at 1200 block of Mt. Pleasant Alley, where multiple casings and fresh blood were found.

After his Thursday arrest, Jenkins will now face charges.
