SWATARA TOWNSHIP, DAUPHIN COUNTY,Pa. — A 34-year-old man arrested for allegedly wearing a clown mask while jumping in front of cars and scaring people in East Hanover Twp, Dauphin County is now in prison on other, unrelated charges.
Jonathan Kline is now being held at the Dauphin County Prison on four counts of harassment, which carry $100,000 bond each. Kline received a disorderly conduct charge for the masked clown incident, which is a summary offense.
Kline has a history of run-ins with the law.
He had a court date for three harassment charges on the morning of the same day he was arrested for scaring people with a clown mask at Pheasant Road and Sand Beach Road in East Hanover Township.
The three harassment charges include harassment committed repeatedly in an anonymous manner, harassment committed repeatedly at inconvenient hours, and harassment with no legitimate purpose.
Other prior charges for another incident that happened in July include stalking repeatedly to cause fear, simple assault, and harassment with no legitimate purpose.
