LANCASTER — Police are searching for a suspect that was involved in a Lancaster City shooting on Wednesday.

One person was left injured, with non-life threatening injuries as a result of the shooting.

Police responded to the 600 block of South Queen Street at approximately 7:30 p.m. for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found the victim suffering from a single gunshot wound, and he was taken to Lancaster General Hospital for treatment.

Officers were able to identify several witnesses that helped determine that the victim and suspect knew each other and were involved in a verbal dispute outside the 600 block of South Queen Street.
