LANCASTER CITY, Pa- Police are looking for a Lancaster city man after they say he shot another man Wednesday night.

According to police, the shooting happened just after 7:00 p.m. along the 600 block of S. Queen Street.

When police arrived on scene they found an adult male suffering from a single gun shot wound. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Police interviewed witnesses at the scene and discovered the shooter and the victim did know each-other, and that prior to the shooting they were involved in a verbal argument.

Through investigation, police positively identified Lowell Foster as the shooter and are charging him with criminal attempt- criminal homicide, and criminal conspiracy- aggravated assault.

Police have issued an arrest warrant for Foster and are actively looking for him. Foster’s last known address was on the 1700 block of Valley Drive in Manor Township, Lancaster County.

Police believe Foster is still armed with the handgun that was used in the shooting.
