Man shot while leaving Harrisburg bar, police say

HARRISBURG, Pa.–A man was hospitalized late Monday after he was shot while leaving a bar in Harrisburg, according to police reports.

The unidentified man had just left Jazzland Bar located along the 1900 block of Walnut Street when he was shot in the leg just before 11 p.m.

He was taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center and is expected to recover, police said.

Investigators believe the victim and the suspect were involved in an argument prior to the shooting.

So far, no arrests have been made.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 717-255-7299. Dauphin County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest.
