ANOTHER 80 DEGREE DAY

Our next system approaches with only a stray shower chance.  It remains very warm for Wednesday with highs in the lower 80s.  The record high is 82 set in 1945 and it is possible we tie it.

The front stalls keeping a few showers around for Thursday.  Temperatures fall back into the middle 70s but are still well above average highs.  A wave of low pressure develops on the front pulling it back to the north and bringing a greater threat for showers late Thursday.  The cold front swings through slowly Friday lingering the showers for much of the day.  Highs are cooler in the upper 60s with breezy winds.

CHILLY, BREEZY WEEKEND OUTLOOK

The weekend is much cooler, in fact, temperatures struggle to climb through the 50’s Saturday.  Expect a breezy start with partly sunny skies.  Can’t rule out a few sprinkles or a brief shower but most of the area expected to remain dry.  By Sunday, with more sunshine mixing in and out of the clouds, temperatures are warmer in the upper 50s to near 60 degrees.

NEXT WEEK

Monday another front crosses early in the day with little moisture.  Skies are partly cloudy with highs near 60.  Temperatures jump a bit higher to the lower 60s for Tuesday with more widespread sunshine and less cloud cover.
