Manheim Police search for armed robber who shot teenager in groin

Manheim Township Police are seeking help to identify a man who shot an 18-year-old teenager in the groin and robbed him.

According to the department, the teenager, from S. Ozone Park, NY, was in the 1000 block of Olde Hickory Road Sunday, Oct. 23 when he was approached by an armed man, who pointed the gun at him. The robber demanded all of the victim’s possessions, police said.

As the suspected searched the victim’s pockets, the weapon discharged striking the victim in the groin. The teenager was transported to Lancaster General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
