Woman facing aggravated assault charge after argument ends in knife attack

STEELTON, Pa.– A woman is facing charges after an argument resulted in her using a knife to slice her opponent.

Monica Lopez, 52, was arrested for aggravated assault.

On October 23, police responded to a disturbance at the Elks Club in the 100 block of Adams Street. Upon arrival, police found the victim bleeding from her wrist and leg.

She told officers that she was arguing with Lopez when she pulled out a knife and cut her wrist and calf.

Lopez was taken to Dauphin County Judicial Center.
