ELIZABETHVILLE, Pa. — A Harrisburg man charged in two separate sexual assault cases in Elizabethville waived his right to a preliminary hearing Wednesday.

Broc S. Ferguson, 20, is charged with rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of minors, indecent assault on a person less than 16 years of age and indecent assault on a person less than 13 years of age.

Both alleged rapes occurred in July 2016. Investigators were tipped off after a parent of a friend of a 12-year-old girl contacted them about the inappropriate relationship.

During an interview with state police, the 12-year-old girl told investigators she had sex with Ferguson, according to the criminal complaint.

Police questioned Ferguson and he admitted to having sex with the 12-year-old girl, according to court documents.

After the investigation came to light–a 13-year-old girl came forward and reported to police that she had sexual relations with Ferguson in a secluded area near the Elizabethville park.

Ferguson’s next court appearance is scheduled for Jan. 6.
