MECHANICSBURG, Pa.– A Harrisburg woman is in custody after assaulting and robbing a woman.

Angela Jackson, 31, has been charged with robbery, endangering the welfare of children, criminal trespassing, making terroristic threats among other related charges.

On October 24 at about 9 a.m., police responded to W. Main Street for an active domestic incident. Upon arrival, police found that the caller was a victim of a robbery.

She told officers that a friend had stayed over at her apartment last evening. However, she woke up to a cell phone charging cord around her neck, which was being held to her throat by Jackson.

The victim told police that Jackson told her not to scream or yell or she would kill her or her baby.

Jackson proceeded to call for a cab, and made the victim get into the vehicle. Jackson had the cab drive to an ATM where Jackson made the victim withdraw cash.

The cab was driven to Harrisburg and then back to Mechanicsburg, where the victim was able to exit the cab and flee to her residence.

Jackson followed and kicked in the back door to the apartment, but the victim was able to flee and contact police.

Later that afternoon, Jackson was found and taken into custody.

She was taken to Cumberland County Prison and her bail was set at $250,000.
