YORK, Pa.– A York County man that was accused of sexually assaulting a teenager and then led police on a weeks-long manhunt will serve time in prison.

Austin Craley, 20, plead guilty to charges related to the incidents in court on Tuesday.

Last April, Craley was facing statutory sexual assault charges. Instead of appearing for his court hearing, Craley stole guns from his father’s house, and then texted his victim, threatening to come after her.

According to police, Craley then went on the run for three weeks.

He was finally arrested in May at the York Galleria Mall in Springettsbury Township.

Craley was sentenced to three and a half to seven years in prison, with eight years of probation to follow.
