Firefighters on scene of house fire in York City

YORK CITY — Firefighters are on scene of a structure fire in York City affecting multiple homes on the 500 Block of Susquehanna Ave.

Two abandoned buildings are on fire, and at least one was a single family home according to York County Dispatch.

S. Queen St. is closed between E. Boundary Ave and Spangler Ave.

Firefighters are reporting the fire is under control.

These same structures were affecting by a fire in March and have been vacant since then according to the York City Deputy Fire Chief.

Both homes were closed and vacant today, but were in use before the March fire.
