SWATARA TWP, Dauphin County, PA- Police are looking for a suspicious person after he allegedly approached an 11-year-old girl while she was walking home from her bustop.

According to Swatara Township Police, on Thursday around 3:00 p.m. the  girl was walking home from her bus stop along the 6100 block of Chatham Glen Way North, when she was approached by a male driving a black Dodge Charger.

The man asked the girl for her phone number, her name, and what school she attended, police said. The girl called her father immediately, who exited his home and observed the black Dodge Charger leaving the neighborhood, heading south on 61st Street.

The dad told police that the  car might have  a Jamaican flag hanging from the rear view mirror, The license plate was a personalized Pennsylvania registration that began with the letter “K.” The man is being described as a  black male in his late 20’s or early 30’s.

Patrols in the area have been increased in an attempt to locate and identify the driver.
