NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa.-- Republican Presidential Nominee Donald Trump's daughter, Ivanka, spent time in Cumberland County on Sunday.
She took the stage at the Clarion Hotel in New Cumberland for a "Coffee with Ivanka" event. She took questions from audience members. She also discussed the importance of education, her father's moral values and how being a mother has affected her as a businesswoman. Ms. Trump also answered a question about the future of women in leadership roles.
"I'm very certain that the presidency will finally close that gap. We're getting close. I think policies such as paid leave and the childcare policy are very important because child care isn't just a woman's issue, it's a family issue," she said.
Before the event, Ivanka Trump took part in a roundtable event with local women business owners.
