REMAINING MILD: It’s another cold start to the region, but Election Day ends on a much milder note. High pressure is still in control, meaning it’s another clear start with light winds. Temperatures are in the upper 20s to middle 30s. Temperatures jump through the morning and the early afternoon hours under plenty of sunshine. There’s some added clouds during the afternoon as the next system approaches, with afternoon highs in the lower to middle 60s. Skies turn mostly cloudy quickly through the evening. The next system brings a few showers overnight. Lows are much milder, with readings in the middle 40s to lower 50s.

CHILLY WEEKEND BURST: Some chiller November air finally slides in the for weekend. The chilliest of the days is Saturday, where temperatures for most don’t touch 50 degrees. It’s blustery as well, adding the extra chill in the air. Sunday features plenty of sunshine and some moderation in temperatures. Readings are in the lower to middle 50s, a more typical November chill for the time of year. The sunshine and warming continues for Monday, with highs near 60 degrees.
