Denver man facing charges of aggravated assault after striking man over the head with a baseball bat

LANCASTER, Pa.– A Denver man is facing charges after assaulting a victim with a baseball bat.

Bring Pfennig, 32, is facing charges of aggravated assault and stalking.

On November 9, officers responded to a report of an assault where an adult male was struck in the head with a baseball bat.

When police arrived, they observed the victim a severe laceration to the back of his head. He was transported to the Lancaster General Hospital where he was treated for his non-life threatening injuries.

The victim was able to identify Pfennig as the suspect, and alleged that Pfennig had been harassing the victim over an extended period of time and the incident escalated during another verbal altercation on November 9.

Police were able to locate Pfennig at his residence, and took him into custody without incident.
