EPHRATA, LANCASTER COUNTY–An Ephrata man was arrested Friday after police say he sold heroin to a man who died after overdosing in June.
Ramon A. Beachy, 32, is charged with drug delivery resulting in death.
According to police reports, Beachy sold heroin to 44-year-old Bryan G. Bowman, of Ephrata. Bowman used heroin on June 16 and overdosed later that evening. Bowman was pronounce dead at Wellspan-Epharta Hospital.
Authorities received tips naming Beachy as a suspect.
Beachy admitted to dealing heroin to support his own addiction, police said.
Beachy was arrested in July in a separate case after police found drugs and paraphernalia in a home in Ephrata where children were living.
