YORK, Pa.-- Veteran's Day is a time where our country honors those in the armed forces who have served or are serving our country.
There are a few Veteran's Day gatherings in our area today:
- West York High School is hosting Veteran's Appreciation Night at 6 pm
- Shippensburg Area High School is hosting its annual Veteran's Appreciation Day
- New Freedom Annual Veteran's Day will host an Indoor Picnic at the Community Center beginning at 6pm
