MT. JOY, Pa. - US Navy Midshipmen gave up their day off to sort clothes, at Global Aid Network, to go to refugees in multiple countries. It is the third time Mids from the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland have spent their Veterans Day supporting GAiN's mission.

"I mean I really almost tear up on this you know because these Mids are tired. They just finished their 12 week exams. They drove 2 hours this morning. They got up early this morning. It’s their day off," said Paul Kinley, from GAiN.

”This is a type of service to people and doing it on Veterans Day,  you know, great day to do it on. It’s a service day," said Madina Petashvili, Senior at the Naval Academy.

Their service is needed. GAiN says for 2017 they have nearly five times more requests for clothing than normal.
