QUIET START TO WEEK: Monday is a quiet start to the week, and it sees quite the cold start. Temperatures are frigid in the 20s under mostly clear skies. Winds are light to quiet, and that’s how they stay through the day. Expect sunshine to quickly boost temperatures through the day. Clouds start to build during the afternoon as a weak system moves up the coast, but it stays dry. Afternoon temperatures are in the middle to upper 50s. Clouds thicken quickly this evening, and it’s much milder of a night. There’s a chance for a few showers, especially near daybreak. Overnight low temperatures are in the upper 30s to middle 40s. Tuesday is mainly cloudy, and still brings the chance for a few showers, particularly east and during the morning hours. Temperatures are cooler, but more seasonable. Readings are in the lower to middle 50s. Clouds remain in place as yet another system approaches the region Wednesday. There’s a small chance for a shower or two. Temperatures are in the middle 50s.
WARMING UP: Plenty of sunshine ends the week due to a strong area of high pressure. It also helps boost temperatures too. Thursday the warming begins. Expect temperatures in the 50s to near 60 degrees as a warm front lifts north. The mildest of the air is in place by Friday. Temperatures by then reach the lower to middle 60s.
WEEKEND OUTLOOK: Most of Saturday look dry and mild. We’re watching the timing of our next system, and it could bring a late day shower. There’s sunshine to start, and it’s enough to boos temperatures back into the lower to middle 60s. Sunday sees much cooler temperatures and plenty of clouds. A few showers are possible too. Highs are in the 40s to near 50 degrees.
Have a great Monday!
