YORK, PA. -- A local food pantry is helping feed hundreds of families this holiday season.

The Catholic Harvest Food Pantry in York delivered more than 200 meals to area families on Sunday and more than 300 families picked up everything they needed for their Thanksgiving feast on Saturday. About 30 volunteers begin planning for the Thanksgiving  meals in September.

It's something they have been doing for 30 years.

"They are extremely grateful for the ability to not have to worry about providing a holiday meal for their own families," Catholic Harvest Food Pantry Director, Kris Pollick said. "I get a lot of hugs this time of year."

They say this year they helped serve the most families to date. If you would like to donate, click here.
