HARRISBURG, Pa. –  Members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrest an 18 year old York man wanted in Maryland on a homicide charge.

Last month, October 24,  the Baltimore City Police Department investigated the homicide of Jamie Christian, who was shot multiple times at a gas station in the 3300 block of West Baltimore Street.  On November 17th, detectives obtained a warrant charging Dennis Tyree Diggs with 1st Degree Murder.  Attempts to locate Diggs in Baltimore were unsuccessful and the U.S. Marshals Service  Fugitive Task Force was asked to help find him.,

The task force quickly traced Diggs to York. At around 6 a.m. Wednesday morning, deputy marshals and task force officers from the Harrisburg office located Diggs at a home in the 200 block of South Penn Street.  Diggs was arrested without incident and turned over to the York County Sheriff’s Office Central Booking Unit.
