York, PA — Rutter’s launched beer sales in their first three locations, Mercersburg, Newberrytown, and Hamburg. Rutter’s is the first Convenience Store in Franklin, York, and Berks Counties to start selling beer.

Rutter’s Beer Caves are set at frosty 29 degrees, the perfect beer drinking temperature. Rutter’s is selling a cold selection of craft, domestic, and imported beers and ciders available in singles, 6 and 12 packs. The restaurant area with the Beer Cave has seating for at least 30 customers. Rutter’s customers will be able to purchase beer Monday thru Saturday from 7:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. and on Sundays from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m., as in accordance with PA Law. Rutter’s will also be bringing beer to the first Lancaster County location to sell beer with their Leola store in a few weeks.

“Rutter’s is committed to responsible retailing, and delivering quality convenience to communities we serve. We are excited that we will be able to offer the convenience of beer purchases to complement our extensive restaurant food in our stores.” said Derek Gaskins, Chief Customer Officer.
