CARISLE, Pa. – Carlisle Borough Police have an arrest warrant for a convicted felon for illegal possession of a firearm. On Wednesday, November 9, police responded to a burglary in the 100 block of Church Avenue. A Taurus Millennium G2 9mm handgun and cash were stolen from the residence.
Investigation revealed text messages from Steven Kunkle was trying to sell a Taurus Millennium G2 9mm the next day. Kunkle admitted to having the gun, and selling the gun for a friend.
Kunkle is a convicted felon, and is not to be in possession of a firearm. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Kunkles is asked to contact the Carlisle Police Department at (717) 243-5252
