EAST LAMPETER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Police are searching for a man who they say assaulted a clerk during an armed robbery at the Grocery Outlet Bargain Market in East Lampeter Township on Sunday.
Officers responded to the store located along the 1900 block of Lincoln Highway East for an armed robbery around 9:18 p.m.
According to police reports, an armed man entered the store and demanded money from the cash register. Before fleeing, the robber assaulted a male employee.
The clerk was treated at Lancaster General Hospital and has since been released.
