Lancaster man wanted on sexual assault charges including rape

LANCASTER, Pa. – On Wednesday, November 30, Lancaster City Police responded to a residence on the 800 block of Marjory Terrace for a report of a domestic disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, officers were told that the suspect, identified as 26-year-old Jamel Prister, had left.

Prister had taken a 1995 maroon Honda Odyssey PA registration KBN0745 without permission. The victim said that Prister had assaulted and threatened her before on Monday, November 28 at another address in the city.

An arrest warrant was obtained for Prister charging him with Simple Assault, Unlawful Restraint, Intimidation of Witnesses or Victim, Stalking, Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle, Criminal Trespass, Rape, Sexual Assault and Aggravated Assault.

Prister is known to have access to firearms.

Callers may remain anonymous and do not have to give their names. If seen do not approach or attempt to stop Prister. Call 911, police said.
