EPHRATA, Pa., -- Roughly 3 weeks after a sinkhole opened in Ephrata, Lancaster County, people who live nearby will be allowed to return home today at noon.
The massive sinkhole opened up on Pine Street last month causing 2 apartment buildings to be evacuated at the time.
Shortly after the sinkhole opened up, residents of one of the complexes were allowed to return.
Officials for the Ephrata Borough say a structural engineering firm recently inspected the area and found no structural damage.
