DRIER AND CHILLIER: Thursday conditions turn drier and cooler after a soggy midweek. Temperatures tumble into the lower to middle 40s by daybreak. Winds turn quite breezy too as the cooler air settles into the region through the day. Temperatures are in the upper 40s to lower 50s under partly cloudy skies, and this is still a bit on the mild side. The breezes gust up at times, helping to add a bit of a chill. Friday remains dry with a mixture of sunshine and clouds. Temperatures turn chillier, and reach the middle to upper 40s.
WEEKEND OUTLOOK: The weekend remains dry, and it’s starts with a mixture of sunshine and clouds on Saturday. Temperatures reach the middle to upper 40s. Sunday is still in the 40s, but clouds are expected to increase quickly ahead of our next system. Showers should hold off until the evening and overnight period, then we watch for more by way of a soaking rain.
NEXT WEEK: Monday brings plenty of showers once more for the region as the next system crosses through. Temperatures are in the middle to upper 40s. Showers could linger into Tuesday, and it’s a bit chillier. Expect temperatures in the 40s. Wednesday is partly cloudy with temperatures reaching the lower 50s.
