YORK COUNTY, Pa. – Police report minor injuries in a three vehicle crash involving a Dover Area School District bus Friday morning. The bus had 25 Dover High School and intermediate school students on board.

Northern York County Regional Police responded to the accident at about 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Bull Road and East Canal Road in Conewago Township.  A sedan was traveling southbound on Bull Road and stopped for the stop sign at East Canal Road. An SUV traveling eastbound on East Canal Road was also stopped at the intersection.  Both vehicles attempted to traverse the intersection and SUV collided with the sedan. The impact caused the sedan to collide with the school bus that was northbound on Bull Road and was stopped at the stop sign at East Canal Road.

Two occupants in the sedan had minor injuries. The driver of the SUV was uninjured. Neither the school bus driver nor the students were injured.

Dover Area School District officials also went to the scene to provide support for students. All students were checked at the scene, transferred to another bus, and transported to the high school. Upon arrival, the high school nurse checked each student a second time and all students were reported safe.

The school students were then transported to the intermediate school.

Police say their investigation into the accident continues.
