Hershey has a number of different events to help you close out 2016

HERSHEY, Pa.-- Just because it's the final month of 2016 doesn't mean you have to miss out on the fun at Hershey!

In fact, there are a number of different events, shows, and games to catch this December.

First, Christmas in Hershey is in full swing, as you can visit Hersheypark's Christmas Candylane through Jan. 1.

There are a number of new attractions, such as the Laff Trakk being re-themed, the Wild Mouse, and a new show! There are two miles of over 600 illuminations to catch at Hershey's Sweet Lights.

The stage will come to life this holiday season as well.

Elf the Musical will be at the Hershey Theatre on December 6-8. The Mannheim Steamroller makes a stop at Hershey Theatre on December 9, with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra set to rock the GIANT Center on December 16.

If you want to catch the Hershey Bears, they will be in town two weekends this month for four games. The Bears will take on the Hartford Wolf Pack on Saturday, December 17 at 7 p.m. before closing the weekend with a 5 p.m. matinee against the Springfield Thunderbirds.

The Bears return home on December 30 to face off against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at 7 p.m. before finishing off the month with a 5 p.m. match up against the Providence Bruins at 5 p.m. on December 31.
