WEEKEND OUTLOOK

High pressure builds in Saturday allowing for more sunshine to mix in and out of the clouds. Highs climb to the lower and middle 30s. The breeze is not as strong with winds out of the west-northwest still expected around 5 to 15mph. With the wind chill factored in, it will feel like the 20s. They do calm overnight leading to another cold morning Sunday. Clouds quickly move in as a warm front lifts through early Sunday. The atmosphere is cold enough to support a few snow showers. The day is overcast and chilly in the lower and middle 30s. Towards the evening, precipitation chances go up. Light snow continues for a period until warmer air moves in by morning mixing the snow with sleet and possible freezing rain. Some areas especially north and west of Harrisburg could see a light accumulation of snow. Winds out of the south draws in milder air Monday transitioning the wintry mix to rain showers which will come to an end around lunch time. We dry out late in the day Monday. Highs are near seasonable averages in the lower and middle 40s.
