Mix and freezing rain will impact your morning drive

A LITTLE BIT OF EVERYTHING OVERNIGHT: Snow and a wintry mix moves in around midnight tonight and will impact the western counties first, but everyone will need to plan carefully for their morning commute. bl_northeast-rpm-futurecast-amSnow to the northwest, sleet and freezing rain everywhere else starts the early morning commute for Monday and likely will cause problems out on the roadways very quickly. Drive carefully and plan on leaving much earlier on your drive to work.


AFTERNOON RAIN MOVES OUT: Once we raise above freezing later in the morning for Monday, freezing rain will turn to rain for the remainder of the day. Showers are possible throughout the entire morning and into the early afternoon. Heading towards the evening hours, clouds will clear out allowing temperatures to drop into the 20s for Monday night.

me-upper-level-flow-templateEVEN COLDER TO END WEEK: Our second round of Arctic air comes in Wednesday into Thursday with a snow chance sprinkled in. Temperatures plummet into the low teens and single digits for morning lows Thursday and Friday with highs in the 20s. Make sure to really bundle up!
