LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa.– A Gap man will serve up to a decade in prison for repeated sexual abuse of a girl in 2014 and 2015.
Vernon Garver III, 28, pleaded guilty Friday in Lancaster County Court to statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, and related felonies and misdemeanors. In exchange for his plea, Garver III will receive a 4-to-10 year prison term.
Garver III abused the 15-year-old girl at locations in Kinzers and Paradise Township, as well as set her nude photos of himself via his cell phone. Police also found nude photos of the girl on Garver’s cell phone.
Now, Garver is set to spend up to the next decade in prison.
