Lebanon man charged with sexual abuse of 12-year-old girl

LEBANON, Pa. — The Pennsylvania State Police at Jonestown are investigating an incident which occurred between April 3 and April 11.

According to police Zachary Weiss contacted the victim via Facebook on April 3.  The victim and Weiss then became involved in an online relationship.  During the time period Weiss allegedly sent the victim several inappropriate sexually referenced messages, pictures, and inappropriately video chatted the victim.

Weiss then made plans to meet the victim.  According to police he was going to take the victim to a secluded wooded area where he planned to engage in sexual contact with the victim.

Police arrested Weiss and charged him with Criminal Solicitation to Commit Indecent Assault, three counts of Unlawful Contact with a Minor, Sexual Abuse of Children, Criminal Use of Communication Facility, Corruption of Minors, and Indecent Exposure.

Weiss was arraigned and bail was set at $50,000 unsecured.
